Blue Christmas

Hello, my crafty friends! I can't believe it's so close to Christmas already! When I was a kid it used to seem like forever between Christmases, but now it comes unbelievably fast. It has been surprisingly cold here in Northern California. The other night we got down to 22° & we even had a little bit of snow, which was so exciting! I know it's no big deal for you East Coasters, but it is a very big deal here!

Anyway, for this card I used my favorite Christmas colors.... blue & white. This color combo used to be non-traditional, but now it seems pretty mainstream. I've always seen it representing winter or Hanukkah, but now I see it used more & more for Christmas, which works out great for me! I made a set of 10 of these, using the CTMH "Frosted" Paper Packet & some other embellishments....

Fabulous "Folk Art Festival"

***To check out my current giveaway, please click HERE ***

Greetings crafty friends! I hope everyone is surviving the holiday madness, lol. My biggest challenge around this holiday time is to stop buying stuff for myself & start focusing on others. I know it's really selfish, but is it still bad if I'm confessing it? I know - clearly I have issues, but who doesn't, right? I'm just sayin'....

Anyway, enough about me (at least for right now). I have a Christmas card to share with you today, which I'm very excited to say that I made with my new "Folk Art Festival" cartridge. I saw this cartridge when it first came out on "Hello Thursday" & I have been obsessed with getting it ever since. So, after going to 3 different Michaels stores (it's a Michaels exclusive), I finally found one! And it was on sale for $34, so merry early Christmas to yours truly! So, here is the first card I've made with it....
