Save The Pitties

Hello & happy Halloween! I would first like to say that my prayers are with those of you who have been affected by hurricane Sandy. Unfortunately, every now & then nature reminds us just how powerful she is. Yikes!

Now I would like to give you a little insight into today's card. Besides crafting, my other obsession is dogs (Pit Bulls specifically, but I love all breeds). I love this breed & believe they are tragically mistreated, misunderstood & misrepresented by humans. I will spare you from my preaching today, because this is a crafting blog, but if you would like more info or have questions feel free to email me (contact info on left sidebar). However, I would like to share just one quote that pretty much says it all, in my opinion....

"In the 70s we blamed the German Shepherd.
In the 80s we blamed the Doberman.
In the 90s we blamed the Rottweiler.
And today we blame the Pit Bull.
When will we blame the humans?"
-Cesar Milan

  8. Hi Diana,

My mom subscribes to your blog. She forwarded a link to this page to me because she knows I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE pit bulls. I agree with you 1,000%! They are wonderful dogs. I have a 5 1/2 yr old blue nose female. She is my best girl. I can't move 5 steps without her following behind me like Scooby Doo!

I love the card. I love the quote from Ceasar. Thank you for helping to spread a positive message about how wonderful (and misunderstood) pit bulls are.

    Sincerely,
    Amy
