I made this card for my stepson's 32nd birthday a couple weeks ago. He's very into wolves and I love this image, even though it's very simple. I also like the effect of the trees in the background so I combined two Cricut cartridges to make this card. He seemed to really like it.

This A2 size card was made using all CTMH products. Everything came from one of their Christmas collections from a couple years ago. The only exception is the embossing on the red panel which was done with a Cuttlebug machine using a Darice embossing folder. Hope you like it!....

I'd like to apologize for the photo quality of this card. The reflective metallic outlines make it nearly impossible to get a picture without glare. I tried outside, inside, and everything in between but this was the best I could get without the whole card coming out too dark. Anyway, I made this hand-colored card for my 91-year-old Grandma to thank her for hosting Thanksgiving and our all-family-free-for-all-slumber-party over the weekend. She's the absolute best!
SIZE: A2
PAPER: Doodlebug; Hunkydory; Core'dinations
COLORING: Hunkydory "Kaleidoscopes" Floral Colouring Pad (main image & layers); Nuvo by Tonic markers; Zig Clean Color waterbrush markers; Wink of Stella glitter markers
STAMP SETS: Paper Smooches "Blossoming Buds"; My Pink Stamper "Thanks a Bunch"
INK: CTMH Exclusive Inks "Cranberry" & "Chocolate"
EMBOSSING: Ranger clear embossing powder; Marvy Uchida heat tool
OTHER: Recollections acorn embellishment; CTMH Liquid Glass; Nuvo Crystal Drops "Bright Gold"; 3M foam tape

For this week's "No Cards" project I decided to share something I made quite some time ago but never paid much attention to nor posted here on my blog. PAPER: DCWV; Core'dinations; Bazzill

For my tag I used the new "Kaleidoscopes" collection from Hunkydory. I love coloring so this collection is so much fun! The images come pre die cut with all the layers so you just color them in and pop the layers up with some foam tape and voila! There are silver, gold and black outline options for each image. I used my Tonic Nuvo markers for all the coloring. This kit also comes with several pages of coordinating sentiments like the one I used here.
If you've never experienced Hunkydory, I highly highly recommend that you do. I don't get any compensation or recognition or anything for promoting them.... I just truly believe they are the best out there as far as quality and their prices are insanely reasonable for the amount of product you get. I have several of their collections/kits and I love them all! To my knowledge, the only site that sells this particular kit is Create and Craft. They also have a huge selection of other Hunkydory products. It is my favorite site at the moment. Anyway, hope you enjoy my tag!....

I made this card a little while back for one of my stepsons for his birthday. I tried to make it on the masculine side but not too drab. I know the glitter tape was a bit much for a guy but oh well ~ all of the men in my family are used to that by now!

I made this card for a friend who recently had a death in her family. I wanted to keep with the Fall color palette but not have it be too dark and depressing. Basically, I wanted it to be respectful but yet still have a brightness about it. I photographed it outside on a lovely Fall day, which I think brings a nice levity to it....

I love candy skulls so I made a card using this funky guy. It didn't really photograph well since I used quite a bit of glitter pen on and around the web and the lighting just makes it look clumpy, but it looks better in person, of course! lol ;)

I am so obsessed with these little birdies! I've been on a self-imposed crafting supply spending freeze (well for the most part - I mean a girl's gotta have some necessities, right?) I saw this adorable stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs and just had to have it! I love it so much that I think I'll change their colors and theme for each of the next 4 seasons and feature them in different projects. I mean let's face it... some stamps are just way too cute to use only once, right? Anyway, here is their inaugural appearance as Fall/Thanksgiving tweeties!....

So I have to tell on myself here and admit that this particular card was actually made two (or maybe even three) Halloweens ago. In reorganizing my craft room recently I came across quite a few cards I've made and tucked away in drawers and boxes and then obviously forgot to post or intended to post later and then couldn't remember where I had stashed them. Does this sound familiar to anyone or am I alone in my own personal realm of mayhem, disorganization, and forgetfulness? Anyway, this card is very simple but I think my little witchy pup is still pretty cute. I do have to apologize for the explosion of Stickles on this card. I'm sure there was a reason why I felt I had to use every Stickles color ever invented, although I can't remember it now (of course). So I hope you like my excessively shimmery witchy pup!

For today's card I experimented with blending some inks, which I have never done using traditional ink pads. I found a few of my older cat's eye shaped mini inks that were almost dried up, which worked perfectly for this project (and to think I almost threw them out the other day!) For the blue background I inked my embossing folder and then for the other colors I just applied them directly. I was going for the look of a unicorn flying over a rainbow which is kind of a stretch but I think it came out pretty well anyway and wasn't a terrible first attempt. I'm bummed that the shimmer spray I used on the unicorn didn't translate to the photo. I tried many different ways but just couldn't seem to get it, so please just imagine her sparkly ;)

For this week's project I decided to give y'all a little glimpse of how my mind works. Trust me - you don't want any more than a glimpse. Much like looking directly at the sun, a little peek is okay but any longer and there might be permanent damage ;) Anyway, this is my giant calendar/planner/blotter that adorns the middle of my work area.
I was super excited to find this because I'm constantly coloring and doodling and I like being able to see a whole month at a time. I purchased this calendar from Pick Your Plum and it's manufactured by TF Publishing. For this one I used my Chameleon pens.
It comes with only the white background and black outlines - the rest has been colored in by yours truly. I like to pick a different color scheme for each month but sometimes I also like to make it very eclectic - just depends on my mood at the time. Sometimes I color it all in within a few days but sometimes it takes me all month. I fast-tracked this month so I could submit my photos before it just looked like a messy blotter. This is also why my to-do list only has a couple of things crossed off, lol.
